ABOUT THE WJYAA
The West Jefferson Youth Athletic Association (WJYAA) is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality athletic programs to help the youth of our community develop sports skills and positive character traits such as teamwork, sportsmanship and leadership.
To make sports accessible to all of the youth in the community, WJYAA has some of the lowest sign-up fees in central Ohio. The fees collected do not cover the cost associated with running the sports programs. The deficit is made up through concession sales, fundraising, and limited sponsorship's.
EVENT INFORMATION:
Having the community participate in a 5K fundraiser allows the children to see a good example of a healthy lifestyle. It also encourages a lifelong commitment to being active and supporting the next generation in developing healthy habits. 100% of the proceeds made through the 5K will go to further the WJYAA’s commitment to offering athletic programs to the children in the community.
All donations and Entry fees made payable to the WJYAA a 501c3 public charity, are tax-deductible. For more information about WJYAA, please visit our website, www.wjyaa.org
THE REWARDS:
Registration fee includes refreshments, an event t-shirt and a bag of goodies. You must be registered by August 23rd, to receive a tactical race day shirt and bag of goodies. All registrations received after August 22, 2019 will receive an t-shirt and goodies while supplies last.
